Very belated news update.... Right around Thanksgiving I reorganized the site a little bit and made it generally easier to update. Since then, my tablet has been in and out of a state of coma for the last few weeks; right now if you hold it just right, it might work. I am going to try and replace it closer to Christmas. My email is also down. We have been moving to a new webhost and gothicpandastudios has switched over smoothly. We are still working on cosplayamerica, so until I get that fixed my email is down. If you need to contact me, note me on my DeviantArt account. I'm sorry if this causes any inconveniences for anyone. I will hopefully have everything worked out in the next week or so.

New Stuff:First of all, I've finished 2 new Tarot Cards (about time right?). Check out Five of Coins (Yomiko Readman from Read or Die) and Six of Coins (Genjo Sanzo from Saiyuki). Next up are more bookmarks. I'm drawing Sailor Moon now--mainly because I want to; Sailor Moon was one of my first anime and still one of my favorites. So, first up is Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars. I am planning a major update to the site, although it may be after Anime USA before I get it posted. With this update will come bookmark versions of the archetypes and anime d20 designs, the chain mail jewelry and charm sections, and some minor adjustments to layout, particularly in the store section. In the mean time, expect to see more tarot cards and Sailor Moon bookmarks. While waiting for updates, feel free to participate in my tarot card mini-contest.

I'm back from AWA--had a great time. :) I hope to get to go back again next year. Now... to catch up on updates that I should have gotten posted before AWA. In prints, I've added Meditation Circle--this is my rendition of one of the powers for the Buddhist Monk class in the Anime D20 suppliment that is in the works. In badges, I've added 4 new Archetypes and 1 new zodiac: the Steampunk, the Wise Master, the Pirate, the Swordsman, and The Cat. I have pictures of the chainmail jewelry (yah... getting to where I can post them), but I still need to get pictures of the Panda head and Mushroom charms. If anyone who saw these at AWA is interested in either the jewelry or the charms, feel free to drop me an email at gothicpanda@cosplayamerica.com. I am working on new Tarot cards and bookmarks: Look for the first new additions to these in the next week or so. In the mean time, I'm looking up a lot of the animes that people have recommended for me to see. I've previewed the first couple of episodes of Gurren Lagann, Shugo Chara, and Soul Eater--all were excellent and I look forward to seeing more. I'm going to be looking up Code Geass tonight. =D I expect that characters from some of these series might be working their way into the remaining tarot cards somewhere. Where exactly? Now that's a secret. =P

So, I'll be leaving for AWA in less than two weeks now. *panics* Here are two new Archetype badges: the Magic Girl and the Vampire. I still need to photograph the jewelry and charms. I got my camera working, but I need to clean out the memory card to make room for pics for the site. I'll get these posted by AUSA (being realistic). I'd like them up by AWA, but that might be a bit hopeful.

Another update!!! I've got two more Archetype badges finished. I've got my drawing groove back on, and things are finally moving forward again. This update brings the Sneak and the Bondage Villain.

Lots of updates here... making up for the lack of anything going on here for June and July... maybe? XD This update brings more Archetype Badges: the Holy Knight and the Drunken Master. There are more to come--about 8 more to complete this set (for now). As soon as I get photos, I will be posting chainmail jewelry and charms.

Contest

I am starting a contest that will run until I finish all of the Anime Tarot Cards. I am running the contest through my DA page HERE. Again if you want to enter and don't have a DA account, just send an email to gothicpanda@cosplayamerica.com. To make it a little more fair, I've also made up a list of series I'm using for the deck (See it HERE): keep in mind that although I do try and limit the number of characters I use from a particular series to just one, if more than one character fits, I will use more than one character from a series.
